A sampling round, defined by Spec to Shelf
A sampling round is one full cycle of sending a specification, receiving a physical sample, reviewing it, and returning comments. Every round repeats pattern or tooling changes, materials, labor, shipping and waiting time. Cydney Mar names jumping into sampling without clarity as one of the most common reasons founders lose time and money.
